Saturday WPG regular operation from Snowbird Skied a few runs in Mineral and Cardiff before being blown out by the wind. Canyons based operations did one run in Sessions but the winds were too strong. The private from Snowbird skied the day in Cascade.
Sunday it will likely be snowing, if we can fly, the regular operation out of Snowbird will go to American Fork, and the Canyons regular operation will go to Box Canyon and the Sessions. Although we take dozens of skiers into the backcountry each day we use multiple helicopters to spread out our operations from Ogden to Provo in order to limit our use of popular and congested areas. We do not operate in Big, Little or Mill Creek Canyons (Tri-Canyon Area) on any Sundays, and most Mondays. Weather permitting we generally operate at least one helicopter somewhere in the Tri-Canyon Area the other days of the week.
